A silent disco needs more than headphones alone. Accessories help you get the most from your equipment. Here are some useful additions to your Dolly Digital silent disco setup.
Headphones are the starting point for a silent disco. Some accessories are essential to complete the set, while others make it more convenient to use.
Transmitters let you add audio channels. If you want to offer guests more music or audio options, an extra transmitter provides another channel. You can always expand with additional transmitters. They come in different sizes and types, including Bluetooth models.
Connect a transmitter by cable or use Bluetooth with your iPhone, iPad, Android smartphone, DJ set or microphone. No installation or pairing is needed. Press the Power button and it works straight away.
Silent disco headphones need charged batteries. Dolly Digital chargers keep your equipment ready to use. A USB fast charger, such as the 10-port USB-10-60W, charges up to ten Dolly Digital headsets at once. It also charges other USB devices and smartphones. For larger quantities, Dolly Digital offers 40-port and 50-port fast charging stations.
If you use an Apple device for your silent disco, a jack adapter can be useful. It connects certain transmitters to an Apple device with a Lightning connector running iOS 10 or later.

• How Dolly Digital silent disco works
Play music through your usual audio or music app. You need a headset and a transmitter. Connect your device, press Power and it works straight away.
• Using several channels at once
Each Dolly Digital set has three channels as standard, with blue, red and green lighting. Hold the button for two seconds to switch the lights off if preferred. Use one transmitter per channel and set it to channel 1, 2 or 3.
• Adding transmitters and headphones
Our transmitters and headphones work together using the same three channels in the internationally used 863/864MHz band. Within 500 metres of a transmitter, you can connect any three transmitters to an unlimited number of headphones. Add transmitters when you need more channels.
